PullUp is a social events application that helps users discover, organize and participate in events happening around them, connect with communities, and share their experiences with friends. - Private Posts: Posts marked "private" are only visible to your followers
- Communities: Your membership in public communities may be visible to other users (you can hide this in Privacy Settings)
4.2 Information Shared with Other Users
- Your followers can see your private posts and stories
- Event hosts can see who RSVPs to their events
- Community members can see your participation in that community

5. Your Privacy Controls
PullUp provides robust privacy controls in the Settings menu:
- Private Profile: Make your account private so only followers can see your posts
- Show/Hide Email: Control whether your email is visible on your profile
- Show/Hide Communities: Control whether your community memberships are visible
- Allow/Block Messages: Control who can send you direct messages
- Location Permissions: Control app access to your location via device settings
- Camera/Photos Permissions: Control app access to your camera and photo library
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Account Data: We retain your account information as long as your account is active
- Deleted Content: When you delete posts, stories, or events, they are permanently removed from our servers within 30 days
- Account Deletion: You can delete your account at any time through Settings > Account > Delete Account
- When you delete your account, all your data (profile, posts, photos, events, and connections) is permanently deleted
- This action cannot be undone
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- Passwords are encrypted using secure hashing algorithms
- Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)
- Firebase Authentication provides secure user authentication
- Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our Commitment
PullUp is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users and has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We are dedicated to preventing, detecting, and responding to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on our platform.
1. Zero Tolerance Policy
PullUp strictly prohibits:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
- Grooming or solicitation of minors
- Sexualization of minors
- Content that endangers children
- Any activity that exploits or harms children
Any violation will result in:
- Immediate account suspension
- Content removal
- Reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
- Cooperation with law enforcement agencies
- Permanent ban from the platform
2. Age Requirements
- Users must be at least 13 years of age to create a PulUp account
- Users between 13-17 are considered minors and receive additional protections
- We reserve the right to request age verification at any time
- Accounts found to belong to users under 13 will be terminated immediately
